We are involved in animal protection by supporting four associations:
Les 4 Pattes de Papara, which works for the animal cause in the Papara commune.
SPAP stands for Société de Protection des Animaux de Polynésie, a Tahiti-based association dedicated to animal protection for over 20 years.
The Ia Maita’i Te Animara association, based in Punaauia, determined to give abandoned and mistreated animals a better life.
L’association PLUM, dedicated to the adoption of stray dogs and their repatriation in France, for giving them a second chance.
All these associations share a common goal: improve the quality of life of animals in distress, while helping to reduce animal overpopulation.
We are involved alongside AOA Polynesian Forests, a Polynesian initiative dedicated to the long-term preservation of Polynesian forest biodiversity and ecosystems. The project is located on the island of Tahiti, in the commune of Mataiea, in the heart of the Mo’aroa valley.
Our collaboration with AOA Polynesian Forests is of particular importance, as it goes beyond simple environmental preservation. In addition to conserving the natural wealth of our region, AOA Polynesian Forests also strives to train the local population and stimulate job creation in the community.
We collaborate with Tamari’i no Te Moana, a local association based in the commune of Punaauia. This association is actively involved in the preservation and study of our region’s seabed, making a significant contribution to the protection of our coastal environment.
Tamari’i no Te Moana stands out in particular for its commitment to the restoration of coral reefs through coral microfragmentation. This technique offers tangible hope for the regeneration of our coral reefs.
