Protecting its water and energy consumption, thanks to the support of ADEME, an agency for the environment and energy management.
Reducing waste volume and the use of disposable plastic.
Promoting selective sorting.
Raising awareness and encouraging its clients to respect the environment.
Protecting the lagoon and the surrounding nature.
Supporting the conservation and development of the lagoon’s marine species.

Our eco-contribution

Te Moana Tahiti Resort is deeply committed to preserving the environment and protecting animals. We are determined to look after the two components that surround us, the land and the sea.

To give concrete expression to our commitment, we support six local associations thanks to our guests’ eco-contributions.

This approach illustrates our desire to actively contribute to preserving our natural environment, while supporting local initiatives dedicated to protecting our precious biodiversity.

Our green team

Te Moana Tahiti Resort is committed to respecting and protecting the environment with responsible practices.

A green team trained in sustainable development issues, is currently in place in the hotel to raise awareness and carry out monthly sustainable actions to preserve the fenua and its lagoon.

All these commitments are reinforced by Te Moana Tahiti Resort’s membership to the EarthCheck program. EarthCheck Silver accredited in 2024, the hotel is aiming for gold by 2025.
